UNDERSTANDING
MIND and EMOTIONS
Last Saturday, the 3rd
October 09, we spent a lovely day at the Friends' meeting house in Ealing with
John, our principal,
and Silvia, his wife to
meditate, practise Yoga and discuss about 'mind and emotions'.
We were a small, but big
enough group - 12 altogether - .
We started the day with a
short group meditation, followed by a gentle Yoga session and after a
refreshing cup of tea
John introduced the theme of
the day, which was trying to understand mind and emotions in every possible
way, i.e. positive and negative.

After a delicious vegetarian
lunch we all joined in a meditative walk in the huge beautiful garden of the
friends' house
and concluded the day with
another talk and discussion.
As we were all agreed about the positive outcome, we will have another day
retreat with a different topic in February next year.
